This is a case study where you have to pretend to be a behavior analyst where you are called by Ms Chu, the professor child development to assist sandy with the issues that are described in her classroom. Sandy is a second year teacher. The goal is to find the best solution of the problem in the union of teachers and the supervisor. Ella is the supervisor. With the input of teachers, family and aides, the Behavior Analysts help to discover what is maintaining a specified behavior, discover more appropriate replacement behaviors, and set up a plan to teach them. –
This is the first case study. You will be expected to write a 2-4 page summary of how the would proceed with the case or address the ethical or professional issues involved. Information should include information about selecting assessment and intervention strategies, making first contact with the client, helping the client make decisions regarding effective interventions, and how to work effectively and collaboratively with the team.
The case study is called CASE 7 "DEPEND ON ME"

Assume you a behavior analyst called in by Ms. Chu to assist Sandy with the issues described in her classroom and specifically to address Jason’s challenging behaviors.
Outline your first steps in approaching the case. What would you do first, next, etc. How would you address the problems between the staff in the case? Describe how you would approach each staff member and potential solutions that would help them both. What type of assessment measures would you use and why? Are there intervention strategies you would use or avoid in this situation based on the information provided? If so, explain why. If not, explain why and what additional information might be needed. Finally indicate any ethical issues that might arise in this situation given your role and how you would resolve them.
