Personal position paper

This weeks 1 page analysis will constitute a personal position paper and will consider at least one important element of this weeks readings, which you feel requires further development, explication, or commentary pro or con.

The weekly one page analysis will not take the form of a summary or book report but will be a further development, explication, or commentary pro or con of what has been read.
An explication is a detailed analysis. To explicate” something is, in the most general sense of the term, to spell out its implications.

What I look for in each weekly analysis is incite into one important element of each weeks reading by trying to deal with all of the implications of that statement. You could/should research what others say about the statement you pick. Find at least two outside sources to quote. It is not opinion, it is analysis based on the knowledge you get from the text and outside readings. Talk about the impact on society of your chosen element.
