When considering your relationships with others, please think about those items on page 92
again as well as your personal beliefs about:

4. Philosophies related to:
a. Serving others
b. Inclusion versus separate – education
c. Educational equity
5. Analyze your relationships with people who are different:
a. Are there groups of people with whom you know you have to work to develop a
relationship? Why? Based on stereotypes?
b. What are your fears about potentially working with these children or their families?
c. What can you do to insure that your work with these children will be successful?
As part of your relationship with others, please choose a friend who is from another culture
and complete a Venn Diagram comparing the two of you.
