I want this essay to speak about my struggles and how far ive become as an immigrant somali girl. I was born in Somalia but due to the war my mother and my 5 siblings have moved to Egypt 2011. My mothers top priority is education and offer us a better living. In 2014 the United nation had offered us an great opportunity and moved us to the US for a better living. I couldnt even dream to step a foot into US but god has opened the doors of a great future for us. Ever since Ive came to US I stayed committed to school and improve my english in short amount of time. It is where I dominated academically and got involved into volunteering. Going to college was always on my mind but didnt know what to study until Ive joined the DECA business program and Ive found my passion there. I want to study business at yale. ( these are the main highlights of my life and I want to include into my common app prompt 2 essay) I could have wrote this essay but Im afraid that my English isnt perfect enough. You could add more into my essay to make it sounds even better. One thing i didnt do is working, because I wanted to focus into school. But im planning to study business and go back to Somalia and build companies there.
