Students will use research to summarize the SBIRT model, and explain its use in various settings with diverse clients. Then, students will evaluate use of the model during their role play (see above). This will be completed by summarizing feedback from others and results from use of the fidelity worksheet (provided in a previous journal assignment). Finally, students will consider the impact of diversity when using the SBIRT model, and summarize recommendations related to its use in a variety of practice settings.
