For your second writing assignment you should create a dialogue between two citizens, Nancy House (a Democrat) and Mitch Senate (a Republican) arguing about whether Congress should pass a Bill that provides free Covid-19 testing and free treatment for anyone contracting the Covid-19 virus. Nancy House is arguing FOR free testing and free treatment for Covid-19 to be paid for by the Federal Government through our tax dollars. Mitch Senate is arguing AGAINST free testing and free treatment paid for by the Federal Government - instead Mitch Senate argues that testing and treatment has to be covered by your health insurance policy.
During the course of their dialogue, Nancy and Mitch may veer off into arguing about various related topics such as universal health care and taxes. You may introduce different issues as the dialogue progresses, but this should be one continuous dialogue. Do not create separate exchanges for each fallacy.

to craft a statement of your own moral code.
Assignment Description
This is not a research assignment, but rather an informed self-reflection on what you have learned in the course and how you define your own set of ethical beliefs. You may refer to any of the texts or materials we used in this course if they influenced the formation of your moral code.
Please note:
No one is expected to adhere to a moral or ethical code all the time. The idea is that if you act on your moral code 60-70% of the time, you are doing pretty well. So in formulating your ideas, do not worry about whether or not you can stick to a rigid set of actions and/or beliefs. Rather, think about designing a moral code as creating a set of principles that will guide you in your decision-making and help you ask the right questions when you face a difficult issue.

Socrates' response is that we turn ourselves over to our animal impulses if we fail to live the moral life, a paradoxical choice considering that in doing so we effectively undermine what we essentially are as rational beings and what we are uniquely capable of as human beings, namely being moral beings. This then would be the equivalent of nullifying our humanity and returning to a primal, beast-like, and ultimately dissatisfying form of existence.
Is being ethical (understood to entail altruism) intrinsically or only instrumentally valuable? Is it required for our inner well-being and happiness, as Plato contends, or is
