Reflect on the assigned readings for the week.
1) Identify what you thought was the one most important concept(s), method(s), and/or specific item that you felt was worthy of your understanding from the Key Terms on page 262.
2) Discuss in detail what the term means, how it is used and other pertinent information about the selected term including a specific example, application or case study from your own experience. Be specific; not vague or general.

Not Less Than 200 Words For Each Paragraph
Study Glen and McManus' (2014) chapter on Motivation. Pick two of the suggested ways for creating a motivationally creative environment. In the first paragraph, summarize each motivator, add your insight, and give an example of how the motivator might be effective. You can make up the example or share a real life story to illustrate.
In the second paragraph describe ways that we can retain our technology workers. Note the motivational value of self-awareness tools like the Clifton StrengthsFinder in engaging employees. Scan the Deloitte (current and previous years) study on millennial motivators. Choose thoughts from Deloitte AND other articles found in your own research to find ways that millennial geeks can be motivated to stay engaged and retained.
Be sure to cite and reference Glen and McManus (2014), Deloitte (current or previous years), and your own research in your post.

You are a spray applicator for a local co-op. Its been a wet Spring, work is backed up and farmer-clients are threatening to take their business somewhere else. One of the most vocal clients farms ground around an elementary school. On the first good day in weeks, the client calls the branch manager and demands that his fields be sprayed that morning. The branch manager tells you to load up and go spray. When you get there, the playground is full of children and the wind is blowing at 30 mph. You call the branch manager to tell him the conditions are not suitable to spray. He responds that he doesn't have any choice: it has to be sprayed.
