You are of course free to read the Times article he addresses but I am not looking for you to discuss the issues raised in that article.

What you think the role of corporations (both publicly and privately owned) is in addressing the areas that Professor Aram lists?
What is the proper balance between “the precepts of private enterprise” and “our pressing social and human needs”? You should indicate what you think are the precepts of private enterprise.
What criteria should CEOs and corporations apply in considering the proper balance?
What is the role of ethics in this analysis, if any?
